A BOS system installed in a number of networked distant sites can provide a systemic schizomeric solution, by using the Enterprise Management and the Remote Synchronization capabilities.

With this kind of solution it is possible to backup in every site the internal site data itself, as well as other sites' data, so that every site turns into an alternative site (hot site) for other sites.

Maintenance service providers use these solutions in order to manage and control backup systems installed at their customer's sites.

In large organizations, this option is implemented to allow independent recovery capability to every single site, while still maintaining centralized management and control over the whole.

In most organizations the installation of the system is composed by a series of relatively small regional BOS systems, which backup the local site, and one central backup system which backs up the regional systems. Thus, it is always possible to restore data in any case of local or corporate data loss.
