BOS is a classical solution for SMB.
By installing the BOS software on one of the office's computers, it is possible to backup the rest of the machines, even without the presence of a Domain, and without the need of installing costly agents on the workstations.
The options are to protect data of a single computer by using a local hard drive, or to connect two computers P2P without installing a costly and complicated computer network.
Moreover, BOS can provide a company's DRP solution even to small businesses, at the cost of a secured communication line (VPN) between the business' site and an alternative site (such as for instance, the owner's home). In this way, continuous backup of the business' site to the home site would be guaranteed. In any case of disaster (fire, theft, etc.) this configuration allows prompt back- to-business with the most recently updated data, and at the lowest cost possible.
